Which zinc additive do you use, or doesn't it matter?I don't have a 340 but in my 440 I run Royal Purple 10w30 with a zinc additive and I use Wix filters
This is the good stuff bar none. Their filters are made by wix to their specifications and are also superior to what else is out there. Don't believe me? Ask about their oil and filter related warranty. They will pay for damages done to your engine if it is caused by their products. What other oil company does that ?Amsoil Z-Rod, not cheap but it has zinc for flat tappet muscle car applications. It also has rust inhibitors for cars that sit for extended periods.

10w-30 VR-1 Valvoline and a Mopar "090" filter will work great in your 340 Duster.
when you know, you know, stick with what you know.except I prefer 20w-50 in engines on the loose side in the summer, I like them loose.10w-30 VR-1 Valvoline
I ran 20w-50 for years and years. I went to 10w-30 and had no down sides, all up sides. But either will work fine.except I prefer 20w-50 in engines on the loose side in the summer, I like them loose.
What are the upsides? Curious minds wanna know.I ran 20w-50 for years and years. I went to 10w-30 and had no down sides, all up sides. But either will work fine.
