Old PAW cam catalog...online!

Those were great for many reasons. I liked them because they allowed you to record part numbers for a future purchase.
 
I remember circling all the highest "performance" parts (cams, lifters, pistons) and bench building motors that probably would have run like ****.

Notebook built motors back then. Used the big DC catalog. I'd show my brother all the part number selections I made, etc. He'd say, "you build that, you're not gonna like it on the street".

I bought a couple engines from them, and assembled them. I had great luck with their work. I still have one of their engines in my 65 Comet for the last 12 years. I sure miss them, and the catalog.
 
I bought a '340' crank (Forged poly crank balanced to 340 specs) and you could still get a std bore 340 block , w/8 sleeves!
