I bought a good auto chrome wrap off of ebay to do this. Better than spending a $1,000 for new console tops or sending out to rechrome them. My car is a decent driver quality.......Not concurs. you can also use a hairdryer to stretch the wrap around corners. The wrap is very cheap on Ebay. Look for a quality wrap. usually it's good for up to 5 years.

The ugly duckling before I painted the console with 1965 Mopar medium blue vinyl paint from Year One. Also here is the dash frame and dash pad cover I painted. I used base coat clearcoat on the dash frame and 1965 Mopar medium blue on the dash cap and sunvisors. The sunvisors were a burgundy metallic before I painted them. My car is auto on the column. I needed a drink holder, so I removed the shifter area from the console and made a drink holder in it's place. I'm pleased.

After I have the console installed, I'll take a final picture and post it here.

Just a final note: Depending on the light....The blue colors all match...The console looks lighter than the visors and dash pad cap..............but they really are the darker blue like on the visors as shown.
