Looking for information on these Cars Please post original Super stock HEMI Dart LO23 cars Hopefully this post will turn into the Best Information place on theses cars Thanks for any help
Thanks Joey for giving us this part of the forum.... I hope it will be a source of information for those of us that are putting together a hemi clone and for those lucky enough to have the real deal!
So glad to see a super stock forum! I asked Joey to move the current SS&AFX restoration of a real 4 speed LO23 over to this forum on your recommendation davescuda. Thanks for the heads up . What sort of information are you looking for? General information or something specific? I will be glad to add everything I can.
Taken from Super Stock & Drag Illustrated June 1968. May be not all have seen this photo of Landy´s first Dart. There are a couple more if someone like to see...
Congrats on getting this started Dave. Hope to be able to help you where I can. I think you already know my car but maybe theres others here that don't liteweight
I would like to dedicate this forum to 69 Cuda 440 (Paul Ceasrine). He wanted this so bad and was excited for it. He wanted to empty his head here. He was pushing me to get this forum up and asking me how it was going. Well Paul we got it! RIP Paul
This one is very cool with original paper work. From what I an understanding only Darts that where sold at the dealers got build sheets
If you take a close look at the drip rail of the Dart in the first picture, you see no corner to cover the gap... Did Hurst simply skip this little piece, or has it been lost along the way?

Here's a few pictures taken by our member @RPMagoo from back in the day in this post....Pretty cool! Hemi Under Glass and Other Things You Might Remember
I talked to Bryan Higgins (One of the owners of S&K Speed Hemi Dart) yesterday. What a great guy! The funny thing is, I was asked to call him about something totally different then these cars. In the conversation we were having lead him to say he owned an original Hemi Dart back in 68. He bought it from Grand Spaulding Dodge. Then that just start a bunch of stories. He still has the paper work to his original car and does not know where the Dart is today. He did say that they sell the Hemi Dart it in late 69. He is building a Hemi Dart now.
Here Bill Flynn's Yankee Pedddier in 69 I Have copies Bill Flynn's personal photo album. I will post some pictures soon. 68 car to a 69
Great photos Dave, I really like the late 60s vibe of the lettering on the S&K Dart. Avenger & 642 are particularly psychedelic. Reminds me of a Scooby doo or Tommy James style font. Love the paint jobs on many of these cars.
