Nope.

The letter (E in this case) is the Series, the first model year the paint formula was used.

E Series is the 1969 model year.

No, the 2 colors are not the same. They have different ppg formula codes, meaning they are not the same.

thank you, my project car is a formula s 67 383 cuda, I know I should paint it original gg1, I'm not a huge fan. the ef8 is looks just like it in certain light, but has a pop to it in direct sunlight. I'm torn

If it is a true restoration stick with GG1.

If you change the color (or anything else) it becomes a custom.

the original 383 has been replaced with another one from the same year, it's not a factory warranty motor so is it original or custom?

My 68 GG1 .. I love it.. in the right conditions in the evening I can convince people its black lol..
