PAINT RECOMMENDATION? NEW GLASS HOOD

I personally think body color would look best.

I am going to see how well the glass is done. If a lot of prep is required I think I will do black. I plan on having my son do the paint. He painted cars at a body shop when he was in high school and college. I will do hood only. I may plasridip the cowl black just to see how it looks.

I know the SS cars had them just the hoods black. But I always appreciate when someone makes it look more thought out... Continue the black up the cowl and down the grille shell and valence. That's what I'd do. And not just "flat black". But a semi flat or semi gloss so it looks factory, not thrown together.

I think painting just the hood flat black makes it look like you took it out of the box and bolted it on. it looks unfinished.

I agree that is my issue with it. I think the cowl and front should be all the same color.
