I'm going to paint the rims for my dart body color. I'm using summits bright blue metallic. I plan on blasting them, epoxy prime, then what? Color over the epoxy? Should I clear coat the rims? Any advice or ideas on how you all did yours. Thanks

Even though you to blasted them wash them with a phosphoric acid wash. Epoxy primer(2 coats). And I like enamel and bake it in your oven @ 250*. Getting the tires on without scratching the paint or marring the finish is always a karma thing.

I just scuffed mine up and shot them with some rattle can primer/sealer then sprayed on some cheap 2k urethane from tcp global out of a cheap gun. They turned out very nice.

I did mine black with appliance paint, that stuff is pretty tough.

I think it is rustoleum.
