My parking pawl slipped under the parking slide. I was able to remove the rod and when trying to relocate the clip it came free. Is it possible to re-install the clip without pulling the tailshaft?? If so, how?

Well, I answered my own question. Yes it can be done. Sorry to take your time. I slipped it in the lower half and the used a screwdriver to nudge it in the top
