I am looking for a push in grommet for these MP valve covers for a PCV. Have any of you guys found one that works?
I ordered the one in the directions, it's not even close. I want to put it in the rear where the pop-out plug is. Thanks, Gene.

There's more to consider than just a hole and grommet – if there's no (or inadequate) baffle keeping liquid oil drops out of the PCV valve, they'll get sucked in and do crummy things (raise oil consumption, lower effective octane rating of your fuel, foul your spark plugs, gum up your intake valves, etc). Extensive info here (linked page belongs to a company selling an adjustable/tunable PCV valve for 3-digit dollars – an interesting idea the vast majority of us probably would not benefit from. But the baffle article is worth a read).

If you can't/won't add baffles to your valve cover, a decent alternative is to fetch a Stant 10078, Wix 42993, NAPA 2993, or AC-Delco 12C26 breather cap, and a
correct grommet for this breather cap, which is a Dorman 42067, NAPA Balkamp 630-1052 or 630-1074.

These are the crankcase breather cap and grommet for an '84 Buick Electra Estate Wagon with 5.0 litre/307 CID V8. Put the grommet in the cover, and push the breather into the grommet. This breather has an internal filter and a 1" top hole, so just snap a standard Chrysler PCV valve grommet into the top hole and a standard Chrysler PCV valve into the grommet.

Did you have to drill out the holes? If so what type and size of drill bit did you use? I have some new covers that need the holes drilled out.

No, I did not have to drill the hole. It's exactly like the one in your picture.

I will add, I "thought" I found a Dorman and boughtit, but it did not fit. That's when I went with the on from Mancini.

These covers used to come with the grommets. Now Mopar grommets are discontinued. Mancini Racing stepped up and offers the grommets that are the same as the old Mopar supplied grommets. That is what was in the link for post 2. If you look at their part number it is MREP5249642. They used the Mopar part number to try making it easier to find in a search, and added MRE to the beginning to differentiate from the old Mopar number. This is the only current source I know of for those correct grommets.
