I have a 66 Barracuda that was originally Dark Turquoise Met. LL1. Don't see many of those. Thought I would make a thread to see them posted. I can only offer the few I have found on line that are NOT mine and then a sad couple of pics of mine with the old LL1 peaking through before it went to the media blaster (I had it painted dark blue in the mid 1980's). Please add yours.

Where you can see the original LL1 on the radiator support and the passenger door behind the door panel.

Not originally LL1 but my late dad had a Belvedere that was LL1 that I loved so this was for him.

My 69 Dart GTS after I wrecked it and put it back on the road in 1982, still have it but burned in my garage fire 14 years ago...

My '66 wagon- still being reassembled after paint this fall.
The lighting in the second picture makes it look blue, but it is Medium Turquoise.

My '68. This is my favorite Mopar color by far. It seems to change colors in certain lights.

Absolutely correct! In bright sunlight my '68 Road Runner was pretty green, but under artificial light at night it could appear to be a deep blue.

My favorite Mopar color, too. That Road Runner was gorgeous. My entry in the "car I never should have let get away" list.

Serious disagreement in my house growing up was whether it was the "Blue Barracuda" or the "green Barracuda". I ended up winning that by having it painted a deep metallic blue, kinda like Dark Blue EE1 (see the edge of the door in the pic below), but a little lighter and way more metallic. I am going back to the original color now that it is on the rotisserie. The video of the 66 Dart 270 Convertible has me convinced it can look great.
