Pinhole leak in gas tank

I have a little rust in my fuel tank. What is the best sealer to fix this? I heard por-15 is good stuff.

I don't think there's enough POR15 in the world to bring that back. lol
 
You sure it leaks? Sometimes it just a degraded rubber inlet tube grommet or fuel sender seal.... Thats what happened to my brother-in-laws Camero. :poke:
 
Extra care should have been used removing it. You caused your own destruction of that tank. Now your on your own. Good luck finding a replacement.
 
I agree with the last post. Weld it. But first fill it with water so you don't ignite any latent fumes. LOL
 
Flex tape....why didnt I think of that. BTW, the gas tank is NOT for sale. Please stop asking. Its hemi spec.

The problem with a pin hole leak......is it is the one you can see. How many more are there waiting in the wings....
And welding metal so thin that it is rusted through? Good luck with that....
