Plymouth Duster Engine Options

Found this facebook post for a 318 engine with 360 heads. Looking for the forums input if this would be a good combination for weekend driver and occasional showing at the local drag strip for fun. Would this be a worth while investment engine for a project Duster?

Don't know about the "R" thing, but a casting number or letter does not a race motor make.

Nothing signifies a race engine like cast pistons.

For the price it’s not bad, but there is no way I’d trust that bottom end without fully disassembling it and checking everything. Be cautious buying other people’s half-assed projects.

Unless you have seen the engine being built and run- always consider it 1 revolution from destruction.
In other words - it’s a core.
It could be a good engine but unless you pull it apart and verify your just throwing money into the wind.
