Hello!

I have a valiant 69 with magnum 5.2 engine with megasquirt fuel only.
I was wondering if there is somewhere i have ported vacuum on a original 5.2 engine? To connect the distributor vacuum?
When i connect it to vacuum from the intake now it dies directly.

Best regards//William from sweden

Usually a port on the carb aligned near the throttle plate. Your going full vac and advancing the advance to full now.

Stock throttle body won’t have a ported source. Why not use a stock magnum distributor and use your megasquirt to control timing?

True get a mechanical distributor. I have done a bunch of them lockout and not. Good call

I may have lied to you, from this 1995 magnum vac hose routing diagram, there are two ports on the front of the TB. One labeled M and one labeled P.
M goes to the map sensor and P goes to the evap canister with a check valve in line. I’m guessing P is ported. You could hook a gauge up and try it if you have the port.

And I looked at my 2001 5.9 and sure enough right next to the map sensor I have a plugged port.
