Not a Mopar but was a cool truck.

Had these plates on my Chevy Pickup. Put a 6" suspension lift and a 3" body lift. The truck had an NV4500 transmission with the granny low. Was a fun truck.

I was a recruiter for the Air Force at the time!

Sold it in 1997 and regretted it right away, too late. Got it back this year, a Father’s Day gift from my son.

Nice little story Cliff. I'm also in Connecticut and will apply for a vanity/classic plate in January. My first choice (71 Dart) I believe is taken already so I'll have to try a few others.

In the past I have seen “68 GTS” on a regular passenger plate but Connecticut will allow you to get the same plate number on different formats such as passenger, Combination, Motorcycle, Classic, etc.

I have my 5 digit birthday on 4 different vehicles.

Got it back as a Father's Day gift? That's a child raised right!
Congrats man. That must have been an amazing experience.

My Father in Law lucked out after asking the lady at the insurance counter if they had anything with 340 or DRT, she went in the back and came out with these plates! My father in law Mike couldn't believe his luck, he even went back and brought the lady a few gifts the following day. The plates have got lots of thumbs up. RIP Mike, I'm now dealing with the Provincial Insurance company to allow me to keep the plates, once cars transfer ownership they don't allow plates to transfer so fingers crossed someone with some sympathy receives my letters, I would love to keep these plates on the car in his memory.

My wife's nickname is "Ghost", so the plate on the Ventura is hers. I got the one on the Dart by chance a few years back and it seems appropriate, even if it is not quite correct.

If you have no luck, can you keep the old plate on the front? In WA, they only require a license plate on the rear.

Bee was my Father's car, became mine for $3600 @ 10% interest over 5 years back in 1979. Yah he did good off of me!

Bird I bought in February of 1990 when we were only allowed 6 digits on a personalized plate.

Dart I just bought, I had the "fluke" plates put on her that I got back in '86 (after Dad died and Mom finally transferred the Super Bee into my name). What were the chances.. Wayne is my name, last name starts with an O and I'm a Junior... 696

No luck on that, in BC it's law to have both front and back plates. I'm hoping to have luck with corresponding with the right person at the Provincial insurance company that will bend the rules, if that doesn't work then these plates will get hung up in the garage.
