Looking for a like new power brake booster for my 1973 Plymouth valiant. Disc front and rear drums.
Still looking for a booster, anyone got one or know where to get a fairly priced stock type?
You might try Booster Steve F/K/A Booster Dewey out of Portland Oregon. He rebuilds/restores them, but he might sell outright too. Steve bought the business from Dewey. Power Brake Booster Exchange * Sirius Media LLC
I'm pulling mine off. 1976 Valiant w/ disc, drum. It's original as far as I know. You pay shipping, and throw whatever it's worth to you and its yours.
Ok cool! Do you know if it worked correctly? When you get it off send me a pic so I can make sure its the same style mine has. Thanks -Rafael
I'm really not sure. They claim they were driving it. I trailered it home, and the brakes worked!!! That's about all I can say. I will get some pics for you this evening.
Sounds good thanks!
Any update on the Booster?
Sorry, I will have pics for you shortly.
I haven't had time to pull it but here are pics of it in the car.
I have this one it is a original 7” $200 + shipping
Both boosters are different from the one I currently have. Ill keep looking for one thats similar to mine. Thanks anyway.
Post a picture of the booster you need, it’ll make easier for potential sellers to get you the correct one.
Here is a picture of my engine bay. 73 disc front rear 10 inch drums.
That looks like a Midland Ross (top picture) single diaphragm. Look for a Bendix dual (bottom picture) diaphragm booster for disc brakes upfront.
If still hunting one, I have a brand new one I do not need, booster only, 9”
Do you know where to buy just the drum? I did a Hemi swap and my [front disc, big bolt] setup is now way to tight. Trying to locate a 7” booster but don’t know what application they were on to find a part number...
Have any pics so I can see if its similar to mine? Thanks
There are some good photos of the oem booster you are looking for on Ebay. Go to Ebay and enter these words into search box. new oem duster brake booster. It must be gold plated at that price.
I have a rebuild one. 7” it was on a 1969 GTS dart 383 . I don’t think anyone makes new ones. $350 if interested
i think i have a 73 booster
