I got to race my dakota tonight at a test in tune. Last Saturday I raced during the day and the weather was in the upper 70. I ran a best of 7.34 at 92 mph. With a 1.60 60 foot.

Well tonight I ran
1.57 60 foot
7.15 1/8 mile
95 mph
11.24 1/4 mile
114.60 mph
I ran two 7.15 1/8 times to night. I was shifting at 6500 and going through the traps at around 6600/6700 rpm.. so what kind of converter slip do I have?

That's a quick kota! I'd like to see some pictures of it and some more info please!

Looks like the converter slip is in the 11-12% range.
Is that a lot or what do you not want to go above? This comverter wasn't built for my dakota. It came out of a mid 9 second small block duster.

It can't be calculated without knowing the tire roll-out and total gear ratios.
OOps I missed post 4
Super nice looking truck.
Thank you. I call it the pro-junk yard dakota, because I have parts from 5 different dakotas on it. Lol I am useing the complete set up from caltracs.

What are you using for traction aide.
