Anyone ever or are using procomp rockers, I believe they are the bushed type not needle bearing. This is for 470 stroker.

Just out of curiosity, called the Scummit line a while back.Asked what he thought. His response, priceless. " I wouldn't run them on my Briggs & Stratton lawnmower" I considered it ,truthful advice.

wouldnt touch them. there are lots of good rockers out there harlandsharps are real good, comp has some nice steel rockers and crane golds are also good unless you run into a set from the period when they had bad adjusting screws.

If you are using Indy 440-1 heads I can make you a killer deal on NEW Indy rockers, studs, hold downs, shafts. Also a NEW set of Comp roller lifters and 9.750 pushrods. Send me a PM if interested.

They are Junk. I was told to try T&D I've run 686 lift with them on the street and they take the abuse like a champ.I know am running a 720 and no problem yet. My Harlen Sharpes didn't last a month on a 630 lift. I also had good luck with Norse and comp cams ductile iron. Stay away from any aluminum rockers They will fail. They look good anodized if your not going to run valve covers. I always see pics of pretty rockers all colors. But when the break they are all the same color silver.

I have already seen guys put pics of their motors with the covers off under there hoods at shows. Just so you can see their pretty rockers. Go with strength not looks. and I wouldn't give hughes a thought unless you hire someone to keep the lash adjustment up to spec.

I run an Indy top end If I would have put their heads on out of the box my engine would be junk. Their machine work is worse than bad. Russ is an A$$ to deal with and he thinks he knows it all. Just Google Indy screw ups. And see what customers think of Russ at Indy.

T&Ds are made by an ex Harland Sharpe guy. Basically took the HS design and made all its shortcomings better. Probably the best big name rocker out there. Their US/German roller bearings are worth more than Pro-comps full rocker setups.

I hang out at my buds machine shop and have seen 3 motors ruined by these rockers. Adjusters are the problem not the fulcrum.Search proform on here. There are horror stories.

Ran their stainless rockers with no problems. Had them on mopars, chevies, and fords. never a problem. None of them race motors, and none with crazy spring pressure either.

Do not get them ! A buddy of mine put at set on his big block '69 mach 1, broke 2 just driving around on the street. Did not even get a chance to abuse them. Called the company and they sent him a brand new set. Less than 200 miles later, same thing. Company will not return his calls now. He has since put a set of comp cams roller rockers on, several thousand miles and much abuse later, still running good !
