Started to make my center console for the car. First time building one and I’ve gotten a lot of help from quite a few people. I’ve got my plan of how to do it and make it look good.

Started with cardboard and then moved to 1/2 mdf.

Gonna need more cnc sewed material for the console lid. The pattern is short the way I need it.

While I was working on the console I had the car taken in for an exhaust, alignment and done touch ups.

I’m using 2.5” piping with stainless Magnaflow mufflers. The last picture shows the duel tips I'm going to use instead of the raw pipes that are coming stick out.

Video to follow.

Here's the video clip of the exhaust. I'm hoping to do much more when it comes to video's and such. I'm planning to start doing detailing video's on older cars.

No I’m having a huge issue with being to shift the car. So far deleted the skip shift solenoid, changed clutch master, bled the crap out of it. It just doesn’t engange certain gears under load.

Once I get that figured out it’s good to go.

Still having clutch issues but hasn’t slowed me down. Been working on the console, making it one piece and also some relief cuts so it’ll fit over the ebrake handle.

Finally home some paint on the console as well.

So here’s where I’m at with the clutch. We were using a 7/8” Wilwood master but due to firewall flexing we blew it. Fixed that issue but only had a 5/8” clutch master around. Video shows the engagement but not enough at the slave so we need more volume. Ordered a 1” clutch master to try.

Found the issue I believe. The clutch disc is bent. Likely from improper install.

Hoping to be running this week or early next.

nice finishing touch on the tips.....I hope the shift issue is cured by a new, straight clutch disc. Reading your thread caused me to triple look at the "flywheel side" sticker on the disc as I assembled the Flash's drive line earlier this week.

Yeah it's completely fixed my issue. I'll be uploading a video today and will post it here. Car shifts very well, downshifts perfectly.

Yeah the clutch is finally figured out. However I have a leak on the condenser lines through the firewall. It’s going to take a bunch to get that done... but it needs to be done soon.

I was able to wash the car today but found water on the floor pans. So I need to find out where that’s coming from.

But here’s a few pics of the car.

That's cool that you got a Summit feature. Car looks and sounds great.
I noticed you started this like 9 years ago, made me feel better about my progress (or lack thereof) and I feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel (far away, but it's there! lol)

Nice job.
