A while back I installed a new tank into my 75 swinger but as I’m restoring everything the fuel gauge along with the alternator gauge don’t work. Trying to make things right, I’m not sure if this set up I did on clips and everything on the fuel tanks sending unit is right or not. If not I’m positive it’s probably the gauge or a faulty in between. If someone could let me know some insight on what’s more ideal. Good morning and thank you all

First question:

Did the gauges work before you replaced the tank?

Be sure to ground your fuel tank.

Test if this is the problem by running a piece of wire with two alligator clips from the frame to the tank.

The gauge didn’t work prior but I’ll check with that method when I get my hands on some clips in a minute thanks
