Thank you guys, and Cuda Chick !
Haven't seen the "crater effect" before, did it help ?I’m spinning a stock 68-69 340 intake with the divider cut down to 6700-6800. Only good for numbers are…..suggestions.

Agreed, I ran a street Dom on a SBC yrs ago, made a big difference from a dual planeHolley Street Dominator is an excellent choice and you can get them cheap, because everyone thinks since they're a single plane they suck on the bottom end and that's as far from the truth as you can get.
Very hard to tell, but I think so? I looked a bunch of aftermarket medium to standard rise intakes and they all have some style of “rumble strips” on the floor of the plenum. Because I don’t have 6” to transition the charge into the head. The fuel just slams into the plenum floor and puddles. Then runs down the runner and plays havoc with the AFR. Why I think it helps? The c12 fuel stains the floor and you can see the stain tapper down and disappear before it reaches the turn.Haven't seen the "crater effect" before, did it help ?
I took some various Mopar throttle cable brackets, rods and pieces and designed a bracket, the pieces are at the welding/machine shop now.Probably not what you want to hear, but I would look for a spreadbore intake. You haven’t even addressed the throttle cable issues yet from raising the carb over an inch+ whatever the intake adds. I ran a stock 340 un-silenced air cleaner with a RPM air gap. Needed a dropped base and and it still touched the hood. Had to extend the throttle cable bracket. You very quic
