Hello loyal Slant 6 folks!!!!!!! I need to know your opinion on something.

We all know what cold starts are like with these Mopars!!!

But I have a choice of putting the exhaust manifold back on the engine with a balancer in it.

Or putting an exhaust manifold without the balancer in it.

Which would be best? I live in So .Cal so it doesn't get extremely cold here (yet!!!)

I need to know what you guys ( and dolls) think. What would be more Gas efficient as well?

Unless it is a race car, you want the manifold heat to work properly.

Yea....what Charrlie said. here in vegas I don't even have a choke on mine, but I DO use manifold heat. I have headers and had to make my own water box, but you definatly want manifold heat on a street driven car.

Without the valve in in socal it takes FOREVER for the engine to warm up and run right. The 318 in my truck has headers and I hate driving it for the first 2-3 miles. After that it makes no difference.
