changing water pump pullet to 6 5/16'' , crank pulley is 6 7/8'' , ratio is 1.09 to 1 , OR,
1000 rpm on w.pump , to 819 on crank , what do you guys think , too much , just right , not enough ?
All opinions welcome --------------bob

Mine is underdriven because I spin to 7200 on a fairly regular basis; so 1.09 if the belt stays on, .......

I build my own brackets and spacers most of the time , I guess because of my oddball combinations. I use a straight edge across the pullies , and have never thrown one . I even had diff manufacturers pullies on my 406 vega -------------so no problems there.

Alternator is where the fuel pump would normally be.
