Putting the push button mechanism back in my 64 Dart. I have an orange wire which I assume is my backup lights and the two wires (white) on the neutral safety switch. My problem is I only have one connection in the wiring harness for the white wires. Is one possibly a ground for the switch. Anyone have a schematic? I'm going nuts!!!!

Orange wire is power to the bulb inside the button box that lights up the buttons at night (put in a new bulb before you install this). Gets connected to the same circuit as all the rest of the dashboard illumination bulbs.

White wires are for the reverse lamp switch which is mounted on the button box...one of them goes from fuse box to switch, the other one goes from switch to reversing lamps.

Neutral safety switch is screwed into the transmission itself.
