I have a 6139s 1972 Duster carb that swells up the X rings real quickly causing massive fuel leak into the primaries .

Please , I am desperate after three carb kits to get the correct kit or seals that will not swell up and fail .

Want to not replace this OE carb , when it is first rebuilt it runs really well

Thermoquad is my baby , but flooding is severe

    Thank you sooooo much !!

Search Ninja Fuel Systems on Ebay. All the kits they sell are ethanol friendly. That's what makes the seals swell.

Rebuilt mine several years ago with a Tomco kit, no problems.

My one and only Thermo-Quad rebuild went well and the truck ran great. Then a few months later those well seals failed and it ran like crap again. I don’t remember the kit brand, but it was supposed to be a good one. Kinda frustrating

No. I've already said it once. Ethanol. Not all kits are ethanol friendly.
