Question: A Body 8 3/4 Factory BBP ?

Back in the day (early 80's) I heard a rumor that they built the A Body 8 3 /4 with BIG bolt pattern for 1972 1/2 (1/2 year only) then by 73 they went to 8 1/4. has anybody seen or heard of this before. Over the years I have only read no.

If that's supposed to be an eight and three quarter big bolt pattern a body rear axle. No they did not make one.

No, never. ONLY BBP pre-73 A Body were the 68 Hemi SS cars..and those were B Body rears
