Well im about to replace the stock tiny exhaust. I love that the car is very very quiet but, the stock exhaust is loose, rusty and beat. ill be going with 2.25 pipe

    I thinking about this unit:

The muffler shop can also put on a walker "super turbo" or a walker "installer pro" muffler as well.

Any thoughts? ive searched for exhaust note videos buy 99% of them are for cherry bombs and flowmasters

TLDR want a quiet non-restrictive muffler for a new 2.25 system

A quiet, non-restrictive muffler really doesn't exist. First, quiet is very subjective. Some consider no mufflers too quiet, other consider an electric car too loud. You will trade off noise for flow when looking at bd/flow ratings. With that most in the performance crowd either use the large case Dynomax Turbo muffler. For a bit more sound the small case Dynomax Turbo muffler,, then a generic Turbo, then a Magnaflow type muffler, after than it just gets louder. A single 2.25 " system with that quiet flow will probably be decently quiet. Add a resonator and things will be pretty quiet.

The bigger the muffler the better it muffles.
Get the largest one that fits in front of the rear axle and add a resonator behind.

Staying with the stock manifolds? because if your going to headers you can throw "quiet" out the window.

After some further reading I think I may go to 2.5 instead of 2.25

I'll be using the stock manifold

I can fit a 19in long muffler in that location, muffler shop says I can swap a few for no charge to choose the quieter one. $280 all in.

See here. The recipe works well whether you've got dual headpipes (Dutra Duals, headers) or a single headpipe (stock exhaust manifold).

I'm running a Dynomax turbo at 2.5 in & out on a 2 1/4" exhaust and it sounds quite stock. Summit sent me a 2 1/2 instead of a 2 1/4 and didn't want to dick around with returns and such so I used it anyway! Good Luck
