Racers with air shifters....especially in Texas

My son lives in Dallas area and is getting his '73 Dart Sport ready for racing. He currently has a 10 oz. CO2 bottle like the one shown here (actually this one was in my car). This is a new car for him and the CO2 bottle needs to be filled, so..... are you Texas racers - particularly Dallas area - able to get these small bottles filled at welding shops or gas houses? I'm in Commiefornia and they won't fill them anymore and I had to install a larger 2.5 lb. CO2 bottle, but if this can be filled in Texas I'll send it to him for a spare.

I would check with the local home brew store. They're also used for carbonating home brew.

I cobbled together an adapter to go between the ten oz bottles and the paintball filler equipment, and found a paintball store that isn't concerned with date codes on my old 10 oz bottles.

Could... if I had one Unfortunately I don't, and don't know anyone who does.
I'm just lazy not interested in being in the CO2 biz and prefer to let the pros do it.
