Rally wheel cone centers

I want to replace the round center brushed aluminum center disks on the cone style center caps, is there a proper way to remove the old ones? if You look at the cone from the back, You can see a little tit sticking out, is that parts of the disk?

Those are metal decals. I usually take a thin bladed knife , carefully get under the edge on the front side , pry up and peel off. Make sure you clean the center , before you install a new decal. Some people even use a drop of crazy glue.

Thanks, I kinda thought that from looking at the replacements that haven't arrived yet, damm near cut my finger off trying to get one off.

They just stick on....might be on real good too. Maybe heat them up a little to soften the adhesive and they should come off easier. Make sure you clean all the old glue off good. Sometimes people remove them and leave them off, it’s actually decent chrome underneath the sticker.
