Just a note to those in Los Angeles/Southern California area;
If you're looking for someone who knows what they are doing and is really reasonable.
Ramjet is the place to take your differential work to.
Eddie has been doing this for years and couldn't be a nicer guy. They are located in the San Fernando/Pacoima area
He rebuilt a core 7 1/4" suregrip unit I picked up on here from a member and had it installed in a day.
Contrary to the misinformation that is passed around on this site, all of the parts are still available including the clutch discs for rebuilding the 7 1/4" suregrips units
He charges $550 for the labor to rebuild and install in the car.
I wish there were more like him still around....
