Yeah, baby! That's what I'm talkin' about! Only thing that's missing is replacing the back-up lights with tail lights so that all 4 are the same (I invented that).

How do I know they're not there? 'Cuz I'm cooool, baby!

A '71-'73 Vega is on my "short list" for my "one more car that scares me" build once I retire.

And that one you posted...Oh, baby!

yeah, i could never go full tubbed for a driver though.. i have fat tires on my car and it feels soo loose, big ones like that have to be insane to drive around on

Agreed, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet, as I've never had a "fat tire" car.

An older guy who taught me a lot when I was younger had a couple cars with "huge meats" (example below), and while they were fun (really fun!) for short distances and relatively low speeds, once they got up to 50-60 or so they got a little squirrely and/or "bouncy".

And of course having Gary Kollofski as my High School math teacher certainly had an affect on my definition of what a "cool car" should be:

Given the cars I was exposed to during my more "impressionable" years, I have a funny feeling a fat tire car is in my future. Sure, they don't corner for ****, but they sure do look cool!

yeah, i went with 10.5" ET Streets.. my experience with them with other cars has been great and i will never need fat meats like that. My car will never handle great though also :) but i don't go autocrossing in my car and it turns corners fine :)

Wow, seriously?
I actually may have paid more attention in class then... and I sure wouldn't have minded having to stay after class as much!

Picture that upside down in the sand at the end of Orange County Int Raceway  We couldn't see it from the bleachers, too dark, but we did see the Safety Safari and all their friends heading that way to extract Wild Bill.
that's crazy... BUT... if i saw that car i would kind of expect it to be upside down at some point
