This ElectraCar was converted when new in 1980 by the JMJ

Electronics Company of Oklahoma. JMJ bought gliders (cars

without engines) new from Dodge and put electric motors in

them. It uses a 132 Volt battery pack, eleven 12 Volt gel cell

lead-acid batteries. There are 5 batteries under the hood and

6 more behind the rear seat where the gas tank normally

would be. And there is an additional 12 Volt battery for the

headlights, wipers, etc. The motor is the original 75HP

Prestolite brushed motor that it came with in 1980. Top

speed is 87mph.
 
I thought he also had a non-AWB car- the Super Picker.
