Maybe, but I'd sure like to see the after video where he's in the hospital again.
Anaphylactic shock can be a death sentence.
that was our first late night date before we married...a trip to the emergency room because I moved something in the garage and got stung.

February 3, 1959 - Buddy Holly, 22, Ritchie Valens, 17, JP “The Big Bopper” Richardson, 28, and the pilot, Roger Peterson, 21, die after their plane crashes in Clear Lake, Iowa. The event became widely known as “The Day The Music Died” after Don McLean described it as such in his song, American Pie.

Only way I got to keep mine in the shop was to find one for the Wife. 1948 unit, converted decades ago to 45's. Rare front coin return.

Nice! I really like it! And as they say, "If the wife ain't happy...."

I sold all of my Seeburgs when we moved, and now I'm down to just my restored 1452 Rockola, and enough parts to build a couple 1448's. One of them will be a full-on "concourse" or "rotisserie" restoration, to match my 1452, and the other will be a "driver" that most likely I'll just sell-off to someone. But I'm not going to get rid of my parts stash...

My 1452 and the last two cabinets I have:

And two mechanisms I'm slowly going through:

I think these are going to be the last two jukeboes I restore, as there's just no demand for these anymore, and I have too many other projects I want to get my hands on.

I found two older photos of me when I got my multi-engine rating (after my instrument rating). Still had some hair!

The last photo of Buddy Holly alive, February 2nd 1959, at The Surf Ballroom, Clear Lake, Iowa. That's Waylon Jennings in the background. Waylon gave up his seat on the plane to JP Richardson because JP was suffering from the flu and wanted to get to the next venue early so he could rest.
