Back in the day it was nice to have not only that many options on color, but pick and choose single options throughout the list. We bought a new car a few years ago and to get a sunroof it cost over three grand with the other parts of the "package " you had to get. Another reason to long for the old days, like my dad would say, and his dad probably said, when he got to my age.:(:)
 
How Ford lost the market

Henry Ford (1863-1947) documented that he made the “any color so long as it is black” comment during a meeting in 1909 (Henry Ford in collaboration with Samuel Crowther in My Life and Work. 1922. Page 72).
