If there's anyone in the St.Louis area that can tell me about a place that can re-chrome front and rear bumpers, that would be appreciated. Thanks!
I’m in VA snd shipped my 66 wagon’s rear bumper and guards to them by FddEx. Also shipped to them my 47 Dodge’s front and rear bumpers (5 pieses esch) to them also by FrdEx. Shipping cost wasn’t hsteful and the results looked absolutely stunning! That place looks fantastic. Too bad they are so far from St.Louis! Thanks Tool man.
In March 2022 I sent my 70 Dart Rear bumper to TriCity. Chris estimated $600-650 and 6-8 weeks turnaround time. It was about 6 weeks and it came out beautiful! Here's what he said when I asked about shipping. "When shipping it you can ship it with UPS and just put the sticker on the bumper, if it gets scratched it doesnt matter as we are stripping it and metal finishing it anyhow." IIRC it cost me about $50 to ship. It came back well packaged.I just got a quote from them for $1500 plus $200 return shipping for both bumpers on my ‘65 Darts. They recommended UPS, but I’m going to check FedEx as well. Businesses probably get a better rate. My big concern is how to package them. We’re at our summer cabin right now, so I’ll probably wait until Fall to ship. 65 Dartman is a lot closer, but if he says they do good work I’m pretty sure they are ok. I have two cars to do, so the first one will be a test. Nothing is cheap anymore (not sure it ever was.)
It is car show season, figure out which shows they are going to and meet them there. Might save a bunch of hassle for ya?If there's anyone in the St.Louis area that can tell me about a place that can re-chrome front and rear bumpers, that would be appreciated. Thanks!

Look into Ogden chrome in Northern Utah, they used to have free shipping.I just got a quote from them for $1500 plus $200 return shipping for both bumpers on my ‘65 Darts. I have not used these folks....... but you
may want to try S&H chrome plating in the Nashville, Tennessee area. Just Google them.
IMO, their work looks awesome.
Well that's an interesting idea I hadn't thought of.I put a AMD reproduction bumper on the front of my Dart, and not once did anyone say anything negative about it? Good price and free shipping from Summit. I sold my old bumper for $100 to offset some of the cost.

There’s no such thing as free shipping, especially on something the size of bumpers….. unless UPS or FedEx has a side hustle chrome plating business.Look into Ogden chrome in Northern Utah, they used to have free shipping.
