I hope that it is OK to ask a non A Body question.
I have a 1946 Dodge WF Truck. I Extended the Cab. I had a guy make a seat for the new extended rear area. The seat back is made with 1/4" plywood with padding and simulated leather cover.
This seat is mostly for looks not actual passengers. On the Cab there is a small 2"W x 1"H surface on each side of the truck that I can mount the Seat back to.
Can someone with experience suggest methods to attach the seat back to these 2"x1" areas? Basically, it only needs to support the seatback that weighs only 8 to 10lbs.
Thank you for any help you can provide.

I’m no help, but you’re going to be asked for pictures. I’d like to see it anyway. Sounds cool.

Here is Picture of Seat mounted but using Velcro. This lasted but the seat kept sagging after a Hot summer.
The 2nd Picture is the 1 Inch metal that I can mount to.
I can only think to make a J Hook and mount it to the Metal then Mount some form of D-Ring to the seat's Wood backing.
Suggestions other than that?
