Next week we plan to fire-up the engine on the long running '68 Bcuda Convertible project. We pulled an entire /6 drive line from a '74 Duster to bolt in. However, we had to get a separate oil dipstick and tube (e.g. tube not pair with stick).

I'd like to know what the low and high oil volume amounts should be, so that as we fill the block with oil, we can mark the dipstick with the proper high and low marks. Hoping someone has insight they can share around that ... thx !!

Put on a new filter and add four quarts. Run the engine for a minute to get the oil everywhere and fill the filter. Take a reading and mark your stick, this will be the "add" mark. Add another quart and mark again, this will be the full line.

BUT it's all in the FSM

NOTE: This ONLY applies to STOCK OIL PANS

Yup. That'll do it.
