Reinstall front seat backs

I have a 63 Valiant convertible. Bench seat with split seat backs. Recently had them reupholstered. Now I can’t figure out how to reinstall. I think they forgot to leave a hole in the fabric where the pins in the middle of the bench seat would slide in, but I just can’t tell.
