I bought a remote trunk release from a member here a couple years ago and thought it would be handy especially at car shows where you get in and out of your trunk dozens of times a day. Why not a remote? Off to E bay and I found a single channel remote transmitter/receiver with a built in 10A relay. Less than $10 shipped. A little wiring and presto! It works well and leave your keys right in your pocket!

Same principle for the electric door lock package as described by TrailBeast. I recently bought that setup for my wagon
