So I bought remote mirrors for my 1970 duster that were supposed to fit 66-74 a and B bodies from classic industries (md2207) how ever the remote cable looks like it’s about 6” short of being able to work.

Can you change out the remote cables on the mirrors or does some one sell a mirror with the correct cable length?

Can not change out the cable. There is a routing diagram in the FSM.

I do recall there is a long and a short but don't recall which goes to which

By the way I made this post it shows some of the inner workings of the cables etc.

In the post there are reference to longer cables

Thanks, someone had mentioned that but can’t seem to find anyone that offers a longer option when buying a new one.

Have read it might fit a dart or something with the vent windows as the mirrors are further forward in the door, or something like that.

Looking for the bracket or what ever was used to route the drivers side mirror cable away from window glass for my 1970 Plymouth Duster.
