Need to remove crossover pipe for oil pan removal. I involved the retainer but cannot budge the pipe off the manifold. Suggestions? If I cut the piece out beneath the pan I could temporarily splice it back in mechanically. 2.25" diameter I believe. Converting to dual down the road anyway.

If the retainer is unbolted from the manifold it's probably just stuck. Give it a whack with a dead blow hammer and she should come off. 65'

If you have all 4 exhaust flange bolts (2 per side) removed, and the pipe still won't budge from the manifolds, it's probably just rusted in place- nothing a few good whacks with a rubber hammer won't break loose.

I have unbolted the manifolds at the heads and popped them over the studs, takes a little effort but it can be done.
