restoring a dash

My 71 Demon has a brown dash that
I want to paint a different color.
Anybody know how to do the plastic parts
and the ash tray cover ?

The SEM vinyl and plastic spray works great. You can change color and it lasts very well. Clean your parts well before using. Used it on my 65 dart entire upholstery and plastic parts. Haven't done my plastic dash yet.

I,m a painter here in Australia but its the same principal, use a Scothbrite (3M $1.50) pad with warm soapy water or Auto scuff paste to take the sheen/dirt off to give it a good key then wash with clean water and blow dry or stick it in the sun,Prepsol or wax n grease remover to get rid of ur greasy paw marks then get some platic primer/adhesion promoter then a quick coat of primer and smash some paint on, JUST TAKE UR TIME,too much paint isnt a GOOD thing, let it dry a day or two if its cold before install
