Restoring Potmetal trim?

Has anyone had any potmetal trim repaired? My front side marker light bezels on my 1971 Demon have a small amount of pitting that I would like to have repaired. Has anyone used Mr Metal Shine or heard anything about there work? I see them advertising in all the magazines. Can you recomend anyone else? Has anyone seen these side marker lights available aftermarket? Thanks Warren

Just a heads up, I read an article somewhere that says every little pit needs to be drilled out and filled with silver solder, then the normal chrome process begins. So to do it right, It won't be cheap, may be easier to find NOS.

and if you don't coat it is copper before you rechrome it, it will pop again. it is very expensive. $525.00 to $650.00 to do a set of rallye mirrors.
