Quick question...when you install SS springs on a Duster, how much does it raise the body up compared to stock? If you want to run a significantly wider tire, do you still have to minitub it?

    Thanks.

trick question since these springs are higher on one side - made to launch flat at the track...

I had a 65 Valiant years ago. I put the 002 and 003 SS springs on it with the offset shackle and hanger kit from MP. I was able to get 29x11.50x15 ET Streets under it on Centerline Autodrag 9.5" wheels. I did have to roll the inner lip of the rear fenderwells. No mini tubs. I think Dusters have more room.

I had a 72 Demon with super stock springs, it had a 9 inch ford rear, but here's the ride height it had with regular shock's.

I put in two passenger side 3200lbs SS Springs and used a 1 inch lowering block on my '68 A-Body. I run a 275/60-15 Nitto Drag Radials on it with 8 inch steelies.

What weight rated springs did you use? This is the set up I want to go with bit with a ford 8.8. Also what did you use for shocks?

I don't know what rate they were, it came from Indiana with the springs already installed when I bought it, the guy just told me they were super stock springs. I traded it off for the 71 Demon I have now. The shocks were just stock replacement, it had mopar spring perches and shock plates were 8.25.
