I’m in the process of removing my 7 1/4 rear. I’m going to be installing a 8 3/4 rear BBP. Stock wheel well openings. Wondering what is the largest tire rim combo I can install? I was looking at a set of 15x7 or would a set of 15x8 fit? The front wheels will stay 15x6.

TIA

15x7 with 4" backspace without trimming. I'm sure someone has stuffed a specific offset 8" wide wheel with a specific sized tire buy trimming will be involved. Mine are 235-70's. I have a pair of 255-60's from my Swinger but haven't got them remounted yet.

Different wheels but same size and offset.

I ran 15 x 7 Centerlines with 4 and 7/8 Back spacing on my 64 Dart with a 28 x 9 Radial Slick
I did roll slightly the ft. of bottom of Fender for that tall a tire. I still have the Centerlines = $225.
