Tire size, rear p25560r15,440 as far as i know is stock,no cam changes, new exhaust system and intakes appear to be factory original.im not into track racing or burning up my tires, just want drive local and some highway max 80 miles one way.Need more info, how tall of rear tire, stock 440, manifolds intake and exhaust, any cam changes?
I run 3.23's in both my cars with 255-60/15's and get good mileage and decent acceleration. One is a 273-4 barrel and the other is a 318- 2 barrel. That 440 has some torque to get you off the line and doesn't need to be revved to the moon to make power.Tire size, rear p25560r15,440 as far as i know is stock,no cam changes, new exhaust system and intakes appear to be factory original.im not into track racing or burning up my tires, just want drive local and some highway max 80 miles one way.
The 440 has enough power for me. I have really enjoyed getting this challenger.changed out the edelbrock 4bbl,replaced it with a holley four bbl.I run 3.23's in both my cars with 255-60/15's and get good mileage and decent acceleration. by the math, 75=2860rpm@zero-slip. With an automatic, could be up to 3>4% higher at that speed so maybe ~2950I havec2.93 in my dart with 273 and 215 70 14 tires.
70 to 80 on the interstate is no strain
No tach, but it doesn't sound like it is racing.
