Road trip today

My son got a deal on some nice machines and a crate of tooling. $2000 for all. We took the big trailer.
The Demon had to come out of the garage to get them in place. First time it has seen sun in years. Crank grinder is here but at the new shop and the new balancer is on the way.

They closed and they had to get them out of the building. Yes $2000. Just the tooling and the indexing tables were worth over $6000. My kid pulls this stuff out of everywhere. He has the equipment and isn't afraid to work. We came in to rest . I'll get some pictures of them in the garage tonight. The mill looks to never have been used. The White lathe is also new. DRO's on all and self feeds on the mill. The big old lathe is what he went after. But how could you pass the others up.

Everyone here works hard for what they have. All races and genders are respected and frequent the shop. He also did work for many Bike clubs in the past and still friends with all. Military and police all know and are friends with my son. Steve does work for them mounting lasers and lights on weapons. As we get older our eyes go bad so everyone has a laser on their 9's and AR's

He is well liked by all and is always being offered deals. There are always people just coming here to hang out. At times I walk into the shop and know some of the old farts like me from my past in the 60's and 70's.
Always "Back in the day" conversations going on from Riding to Cruising to Street racing. That is how my son finds what he does . There are always Old friends just giving him things they don't need and can't take with them. But he always returns the favor if they need something.

Friends and family are forever. That is how patriots roll.

We got them in the garage and he went through the crate and filled a roller cart up.

While I was taking pictures I snapped some of the garage. We had to move everything around. Now its clean up time.

The other garage is twice the size and packed. He has to stop buying now.

You should see the sheds. This is why its so hard to find parts when guys need them. A lot of things went in the junk bin today.
