Rocker panel replacement

I've looked around and can't find much info on replacing the rocker panels when they're rusted out. Does anyone have a link or care to offer a quick how to?

Get AMD full rocker panels. They are worth the money. But like all body work... it sucks. I'm a mechanic not a body man.

It's no different than replacing any other part of the unibody structure.
Support the car front and rear by the frame rails, and make sure the load is evenly distributed before you make any cuts.
I have patch sections available if you need them

Keep in mind there is both an inner and outer rocker.

My car is a four door with cancer. Will the two door panel work?

I'm curious about the order of assembly, do inner and outer get assembled together and then install, or install inner and then outer?

Easiest way to do it is just graft in the section as a tube.
Two and Four door cars use the same basic rocker panels.
There is a difference in length between Dodge and Plymouth models pre 74.

Yes, definitely right, I put a rocker on a 73 cuda last year and it wasn't AMD, it would actually cap the original rocker, I ended up cutting it up and using it for patches to repair the original rocker.
