Two more days and I'm headed out to the Rod Run to the End of the World on the Long Beach Peninsula of WA. Folks will start rolling in and cruising on Thursday and the streets will be full of hot rods on Friday leading up to the "slow drags" Friday night in Ilwaco. Show is all day Saturday and most of Sunday at the Beach Baron's show field in Ocean Park. They expect 8-900 cars (1989 and older) on the show field. Everyone leaves the show grounds Saturday night so they are all ON THE STREET, along with later model muscle, and cars that don't show.
Every year there seem to be more and more Mopars! Is anybody else headed to Long Beach this weekend??? We'll be there (after a 3 hour 2 lane blacktop adventure) in our white 1970 Dart Custom (340 with 2 X 4 crossram).
