Hey folks, I just pulled my 8 1/4" single side 2.45 rear end out and installed a posi and 3.90s in my '74 318 Duster. When I pulled the rear end/axle etc I lost the rubber snubber that attaches to the top of the front snout of the differential and also noticed that the triangular rubber snubbers that mount to the floor pan above the axle tubes are torn and need to be replaced. Where do I get a set of these? I have looked in most of the usual places and don't see them. Maybe I am not looking hard enough or in the wrong locations. Any help is appreciated! Thanksl

I have a very nice bracket and rubber snubber that came off my 8 3/4 that I removed from my 1971 duster. If I remember correctly the height is ajustable.

Thanks KSB but if I understand it correctly the 8 3/4 is different and with my 8 1/4 I can't use the same adjustable snubbers that are available for the 8 3/4...Or am I wrong there?

Try one of the suspension vendors, Just suspension, etc. They will sell bumpers that you are looking for.

I found an adjustable pinion snubber at Mancini Racing but I still can't find the rubber snubbers that are attached to the underside of the floor just above the axle tubes. I imagine that with the stock pinion snubber these are there to keep the axle tubes from moving too much if there is some unequal loading. I still need them since my originals are torn. Mancini didn't have them nor did PST, Justsuspensions or Dantes. Any thoughts guys?
