My 75 Duster original A/C slant 6 car. Slant 6 replaced with a 318 by previous owners. Under hood a/c system removed. When I go to replace the a/c system since everything is missing now. Should I go with the RV 2 or go with the Sanden. I will have to get the 3 groove pulleys as well. Car will never be numbers matching.

If you’re not concerned about the factory look the Sanden is much more reliable and lighter than the RV2. I replaced both of the RV2’s on my vehicles years ago with Sanden’s.

If your not concerned with staying original you might consider a retrofit kit like vintage air or classic auto air. Nothing wrong with the original compressor but it eats more horsepower and is less efficient.

I used a Classic underhood kit on mine with the Sanden and am very happy with it. Its a firewall forward kit. Everything fit like it was supposed to. It came with a Bouchillon mounting bracket for the compressor. There tech support was good also.
